Zeytin Oil's Hummus Recipe:
- 1 Can Chickpeas (15 Oz), rinsed in warm water and drained
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Tbsp Tahini
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 1/4 Cup Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil, more to taste
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 2~3 Tbsp Water
- Salt to taste
- Garnish: Chopped Tomatoes, Parsley, Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Combine garlic, tahini, lemon juice, Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cumin, salt in a food processor. Puree until smooth.
- Add in chickpeas and puree for 3-5 minutes. Add water if chunky and continue to blend.
- Drizzle a generous amount of Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil on top. Garnish and serve.
