INGREDIENTS
Donuts
- 1 tbsp Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup of
- Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter + 1/2 coconut sugar
- Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter + 1/4 cup coconut sugar OR
- Peppertux Pistachio Cream + 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup gluten free oat flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt to taste
Pistachio Chocolate Glaze
- 1 cup chocolate, melted
- 1 tsp
- Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter
- Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter OR
- Peppertux Pistachio Cream
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease two donut tins with Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- In a bowl, combine all the wet donut ingredients: Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream, eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine all the dry donut ingredients: oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Place batter into donut tins evenly and bake for 25 minutes.
- Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack.
- To make the pistachio chocolate glaze, combine melted chocolate with Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream.
- Dunk each donut into the pistachio chocolate mixture and sprinkle chopped pistachios to garnish. Enjoy!
