Gluten Free, Baked Pistachio Chocolate Donuts

  • 1 tbsp Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup of
    • Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter + 1/2 coconut sugar
    • Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter + 1/4 cup coconut sugar OR
    • Peppertux Pistachio Cream + 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup gluten free oat flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt to taste

Pistachio Chocolate Glaze

  • 1 cup chocolate, melted
  • 1 tsp
    • Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter
    • Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter OR
    • Peppertux Pistachio Cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease two donut tins with Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  • In a bowl, combine all the wet donut ingredients: Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream, eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine all the dry donut ingredients: oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Place batter into donut tins evenly and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack.
  • To make the pistachio chocolate glaze, combine melted chocolate with Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream.
  • Dunk each donut into the pistachio chocolate mixture and sprinkle chopped pistachios to garnish. Enjoy!
