This might as well be the best pistachio cake recipe we've seen so far and thanks to @spoonful_stories it looks amazing! Go ahead give it a try and tag us :)
Cake recipe
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅛ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup canola oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp pistachio cream
- Pinch of teaspoon salt
- Dash of vanilla (optional)
- ⅓ cup milk of choice
Pistachio Cream Frosting
- 2-3 tbsp pistachio cream
- 4tbsp butter
- 6oz cream cheese
- 1-2 cups cream cheese frosting
** Makes two, 4 inch ramekins
- Add flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar to the bowl and whisk together with butter until sandy texture
- Combine the vanilla extract, milk, oil then combine the egg and mix till combined
- Pour half the batter into one 4 inch ramekin and swirl with dried cranberries
- Add 2 tbsp pistachio paste and roasted pistachio(optional) mix till combined then pour the remaining half of the batter into another 4 inch ramekin
- Bake at 350F for 15-20min or until toothpick comes out clean!
- Let it cool, top it with the frosting - enjoy!
