Brownie Batter

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp
    • Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter + 1 cup sugar
    • Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter + 3/4 cup sugar
    • Peppertux Pistachio Cream + 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Zeytin Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: 2/3 cup chocolate chips


  • 1/2 cup
    • Peppertux Unsweetened Pistachio Butter
    • Peppertux Original Pistachio Butter
    • Peppertux Pistachio Cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted


  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit. Line an 8” x 8” baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Using a handheld mixer or stand mixer, add all the wet ingredients together: melted butter, Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream, eggs, egg yolk, vanilla and olive oil until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt.
  • Gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips if desired.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool brownie for 15 minutes.
  • Spread Peppertux Pistachio Butter or Pistachio Cream on the brownie, and then finish by spreading melted chocolate on top.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour and enjoy!
